Mumbai's Sassoon Docks Re-energised by St+art India

Have you been to the Sassoon Docks? Have you heard of the Sassoon Docks?

It’s possible that many of us living in India’s maximum city, Mumbai, have not heard of or been to this 142 year old dock. It’s still home to one the liveliest native Koli community (fisher community).

St+art India took on the area with 30 artists from all over the world and revamped it with street art, murals and art installations.

It’s just on for a few days more (30th December 2017) – I was admittedly a little late to get there, but this when I got there it was so very worth it.

I took loads of photos, which you can check out on my Instagram, while my friend, Suneer Chowdhary did the camera work for me – thank you Suneer!

Have a look at the video and the photos – AND… pleeaassee do subscribe to the channel.
